But the question I always get asked is How much HIFU Facelift cost and does it work!

Yes, otherwise I personally would not have kept my machine for so long. I have been using my 4D Hifu – Fondly named George for 4 years. I use him every day on in various ways, due to the different options and treatments it does.

HIFU treatments for skin rejuvenation.

I do have evidence that my treatments do improve skin tone and firmness because I have very happy clients that tell me and I can see for myself.

For me it’s about how they feel. After 3-6 months of working together by combining my HIFU Face treatments with other skin rejuvenation treatment such as mesotherapy and micro-needling – yes, it is worth it! – but no not just one treatment!

HIFU Treatment costs

How I calculate the HIFU treatment within my business and the benefits to you as the client are based on the two factors: -

1. The type of ultrasound energy you need for the outcome

2. The size of the area you want treating.

The type of energy is delivered via different cartridges

There is macro energy for instant skin tightening and plumping similar to radio frequency and then there is micro energy that penetrates deeper into the dermis layer to a pinpoint to create the lift and firmness.

The cost of each cartridge is the same, the number of shots each cartridge has is the same, the cost of the machine to deliver the energy is the same, the skin products used to remove the gel and treat the skin is the same and the cost of my professional time and knowledge is the same.

The variable in the HIFU cost is calculated based on the amount of energy required to produce different outcomes.

It takes more shots to create a face-lift than it does for skin tightening.

Face-lift HIFU treatment requires 3 layers of energy. It starts deep in the dermis layer to cause the inflammation and contraction of the smas layer.

Then the next layer is to stimulate collagen production for the lift and targets the hypodermis layer, then to complete the treatment a 3rd layer of energy is required in the epidermis to tightening and firm the skin.

For instant skin tightening, just a single layer of macro energy is used to stimulate collagen and elastin in the epidermis layer.

The second factor is the size of the area you want treating.

For the HIFU face-lift treatment, commonly the focus is under the chin and up the jawline, or it might be the full neck area that concerns you the most.

In general, both these individual areas require 3 layers of energy and would use approx. 500-600 shots in total.

HIFU eye lift the area is smaller and can only take a single layer of energy due to the delicate nerves and fat pad tissue. So this would commonly only take 300 shots.

For skin tightening, the single-layer macro-energy is used on thinner skin that will lift and plumped easily, I focus around the mouth, cheeks, under eyes and brow for the instant skin tightening and plump feeling. This will again take about 300 to 400 shots.

Taking into account my fixed costs mentioned before, plus these two factors my HIFU treatment costs is calculated at $2 per shot!

But the main point to add here is that the older and thicker the skin the more treatments you need to get the lift.

And now you understand how deep the energy goes you can now understand why it takes up to 12 weeks for the face-lift result to be felt and that the skin tightening can be felt instantly.

HIFU – Is it worth it?

The biggest variable to answering the question to “is it worth it” when it comes to HIFU face treatments is you and your skin.

My George works, it’s you that is the variable.

Your hydration levels, immune response, cytokines production, collagen production and frequency of treatments will all influence the outcome.

If you expect the structure of your face to change and want to lift thick skin instantly, and a perfectly smooth forehead, then NO HIFU face treatment is not worth it. Because you will be disappointed because no non-invasive treatment can do that. So your expectations are too high.

If you want to encourage the natural stimulation of your collagen and enhance what you already have to naturally look and feel lifted and firmer, you are happy to be patient for 6 to 12 months, then YES, this kind of investment of your time and money is worth it.
