One of the easiest indigenous plants to grow. Drought tolerant and hardy. 50cm high and 50cm wide
The daisy is two flowers in one: The outer large petals make up one flower and the cluster of tiny petals that form the center make up another flower.
Poppies (Papaver)

Annual Winter flowering plant. Height about 40cm. Flower about 12+ cm wide
Due to the rubble left behind after artillery bombardments on the Flanders fields, Poppies sprung up in their thousands. The lime in the fragmented masonry was a great fertiliser for poppies. After a few years, when all the lime had been absorbed by the plants, the poppies largely disappeared.
